Dr Mesham is an ophthalmic surgeon specialising in laser eye surgery. He graduated at the University of Cape Town in 1986 and did specialist training at Groote Schuur Hospital. He then did further training at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London where he worked in the laser surgery clinic.

He has been involved in excimer laser surgery since it was first introduced to Cape Town and has been performing the lasik procedure since 1995.
He is registered with the following professional organizations:

- Ophthalmic Society of South Africa
- South African Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons
He has extensive experience with several laser systems including the Technolas, Visx, Ladar, Nidek and Wavelight systems.

Our laser treatments are done at the laser suite in the Peninsula Eye Hospital in Claremont. We have a dedicated team who have extensive experience in laser eye surgery.
Consulting Rooms
The assessment and check-up visits are done at Dr Mesham’s consulting rooms in Constantia. Our clinical and administrative team have many years of experience and are always happy to answer any questions you may have.
